- 6 medium sized red-skinned sweet potatoes shopping list
- 1/2 cup (packed) brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick)butter,room temperature shopping list
- 1 tbs lemon juice shopping list
- 2 teaspoons grated orange peel shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoons ground all spice shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg shopping list
How to make it
- Position the rack in the center of the oven,preheat to 400 degrrees. Pierce sweet potatoes in several places with a fork, place on aluminum foiled covered flat pan. Bake until tender, when it is pierced with a fork about 55 minutes cool slightly.
- Cut the sweet potatoes in half. Scoop out the pulp into a large bowl, discard the peel. Add ground cinnamon,all spice,lemon juice,peel,nutmeg.
- Use an electric mixer, beat until the mixture is smooth.
