How to make it

  • Snap ends off beans
  • Boil beans until tender and drain (we like them slightly crunchy)
  • Cut bacon into pieces and fry until cooked, drain off 1/2 of the grease
  • Add vinegar, water and sugar to the bacon and bring to a boil.
  • Pour bacon mixture over beans and heat 10-15 minutes to blend the flavor.
