Ingredients
  • 4 fish steaks (halibut salmon or swordfish) (about 3/4 inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp. minced onion
  • 1 tbsp. chopped fresh ginger root
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1/2 tps. sugar

Directions
  1. Place fish in single layer in shallow baking dish
  2. Measure soy sauce, onion, ginger, sesame seeds and sugar in blender
  3. Process on low speed for 30 seconds, scraping sides down once
  4. Pour sauce oer fish, turn over to coat both sides
  5. Marinate 30 minutes, turning fish over occasionally
  6. Remove fish and broil or grill 4 inches from heat source or moderately hot coals, 5 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily when tested with fork
  7. Garnish as desired
