How to make it

  • Wash, shred or slice fresh vegetables
  • In a large frying pan, melt margarine
  • Add water and vegetables to the frying pan
  • Cook over low heat until vegetables are crisp and tender
  • Stir occasionally to keep vegetables from sticking; you may need to ad a little more water if vegetables are not "done."
  • Season with salt, pepper and fresh herbs
  • Serve with rice, pasta/noodles, or in a casserole dish over mashed potatoes
