Rainbow Cake

- 1 pkg (2-layer size) white cake mix or pudding-included cake mix shopping list
- 1 pkg (3 oz) Jello brand strawberry flavor gelatin shopping list
- 1 cup boiling water shopping list
- 1/2 cup cold water shopping list
- 2 cups thawed Cool Whip shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare cake mix as directed on package, baking in well-greased and floured 13x9-inch pan. Cool cake in pan 15 minutes; then prick with utility fork at 1/2-inch intervals.
- Meanwhile, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and carefully pour over warm cake. Chill 3-4 hours.
- Top with whipped topping. Cut into squares and garnish with strawberries, if desired.
