How to make it

  • Prepare rice as directed on package
  • Cook and stir chicken (stir fry) in oil in skillet on medium-high heat for 5 minutes or until cooked through
  • Add vegetables (vegetables)
  • Mix water, soy sauce, pepper and garlic (sauce mixture); add to skillet
  • Cook on medium heat for 3-5 minutes
  • Serve over rice
  • Top with cashews (add ons)
  • ****Try these variations:
  • Pork -
  • (stir fry) 1 lb. pork tenderloin; cut into 1 inch chunks
  • (vegetables) carrots, onions, green peppers; cut into chunks
  • (add ons) top with 1 can (8 oz.) pineapple chunks; drained
  • Beef -
  • (stir fry) 1 lb. beef sirloin; cut into thin strips
  • (vegetables) mix 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce and 1/2 tsp. ground ginger and 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • (add ons) sprinkle with chinese noodles
  • Vegetarian -
  • (stir fry) 1 pkg. (14 oz.) extra firm tofu; cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • (vegetables) mix 1/2 cup stir fry sauce and 1/2 tsp. ground ginger and 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • (add ons) sprinkle with peanuts
