Baked Macaroni And Cheese

- 2 tbsp. corn starch shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard (optional) shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. pepper shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups milk shopping list
- 2 tbsp. margarine or butter shopping list
- 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded american or cheddar cheese, divided shopping list
- 1 3/4 cups (8 oz.) elbows, cooked for 7 minutes; drained shopping list
How to make it
- In a medium saucepan, combine corn starch, salt, dry mustard and pepper
- Stir in milk
- Add margarin; stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium-high heat and boil for 1 minute
- Remove from heat
- Stir in 1 3/4 cups cheese until melted***
- Add elbows
- Pour into greased 2 quart casserole dish
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese
- Bake at 375F, uncovered for 25 minutes or until lightly browned
- ***Baked Ham N Cheese Macaroni - stir in 1 cup diced ham with elbows
