How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350F
  • Stir together cake mix (dry), margarine and egg
  • Press in ungreased 15 1/2x10 1/2x1 inch jelly roll pan
  • Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown
  • Sprinkle with marshmallows
  • Bake 3-5 minutes or until marshmallows puff
  • Microwave butterscotch and chocolate chips uncovered in large microwaveable bowl on medium-high for 1 minute; stir
  • Microwave 1-2 minutes longer, stirring every 30 seconds, until mixture can be stirred smooth
  • Stir in cereal and peanuts
  • Immediately spoon mixture over hot marshmallow layer
  • Let stand for 1 hour; cut into bars
  • Refrigerate until set
  • Store covered
