Cornmeal Gravy

- 4 1/2 TBS cooking oil shopping list
- 1/3 cup cornmeal shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil.
- Add cornmeal and salt.
- Stir constantly until cornmeal has browned.
- *Important!* Stirring constantly will prevent cornmeal from sticking to pan and burning.
- When cornmeal is brown, stir in milk.
- Keep stirring until gravy starts to thicken.
- Turn off heat. Gravy will thicken more as it cools a bit.
- Serve over fried potatoes. YUM!
