I made my own version of a dish I've eaten many times at Crooked nail Pub in West Chester, OH. Turned out good!

Ingredients
  • 1 package of penne pasta (whole wheat or low-carb optional)
  • ground beef to taste
  • pepperoni to taste
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 bag Italian mix shredded cheese

Directions
  1. Boil the pasta and place in whatever bakeware you intend to use (I used a pyrex casserole bowl)
  2. brown however much ground beef you want to use (I just used about half a cup cooked) another option is meat sauce
  3. Mix pasta, sauce, beef and pepperoni in pan
  4. flatten it out and sprinkle cheese on top
  5. Bake at 350 until cheese is bubbly and golden on edges
