Pumpkin Soup

- 2 15 oz. cans pure pumpkin (NOT pie filling) shopping list
- 4 cups chicken stock shopping list
- 1 cup cream (or what you like) shopping list
- 1 garlic clove pressed shopping list
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter (or margarine, optional) shopping list
- 1 tablespoon Chinese 5 spice powder (or more) shopping list
- Garnish: chopped fresh cilantro, chopped chives, grated cheddar cheese shopping list
How to make it
- whisk all ingredients together in a large soup pot.
- cook at a simmer until all ingredients have reduced.
- garnish with cilantro, chives and cheese. serve warm.
