Caramel Rum Dip

- 1/2 cup ( 1 stick) unsalted butter shopping list
- 14-oz. package caramels shopping list
- 1/4 cup pecans, chopped shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. milk shopping list
- 1 tsp. rum extract (or use 1 Tbsp. rum) shopping list
- cut- up fresh fruit, pretzels (or use on pound cakes), for dipping shopping list
How to make it
- Melt the butter and caramels in a 2-quart saucepan over low heat,
- stirring occasionally, until caramels are melted, about 12 to 15 minutes.
- Stir in pecans, milk and rum extract; mix vigorously to incorporate.
- Serve warm with fruit, prezels or pound cake.
