From Taste of Home. I've tasted many versions of this recipe but this is my favorite.

Ingredients
- Crust:
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 3/4 cup butter-melted
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- Filling:
- 2 cups whipped topping
- 1 8oz package cream cheese-softened
- 1 cup sugar
- Topping:
- 2 3oz packages strawberry gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 16oz packages frozen sweetened sliced strawberries-thawed
- Additional whipped topping-optional
Directions
- Crust:
- In a bowl,combine pretzel,butter,and sugar.
- Press in ungreased 9" x 13" x 2" baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Filling:
- In small mixing bowl,beat whipped topping,cream cheese,and sugar until smooth.
- Spread over crust.
- Refrigerated until chilled.
- Topping:
- In a large bowl,dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
- Stir in strawberries with syrup.
- Chill until partially set.
- Carefully spoon over filling.
- Chill 4-6 hours or until firm.
- Serve with additional topping if desired.
