Beef Beehives

- 2 lbs ground beef shopping list
- 2 slices of white bread, crumbled shopping list
- 1/3 cup of milk shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup snipped celery leaves shopping list
- 1/3 cup snipped parsley shopping list
- 1 small green onion (including top) shopping list
- 1 17 oz can apricot halves, drained shopping list
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds shopping list
How to make it
- soak bread in milk in a mixing bowl
- mix well and stir in sour cream
- sprinkle salt, season salt, oregano and pepper over meat, mix lightly
- add seasoned beef, celery leaves, parsley and onion to the sour cream mixture
- mix well
- using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, dip up the meat mixture and place 6 mounds on lightly greased broiler tray.
- leave some space between them
- divide cream cheese into 6 equal parts
- place an apricot half in center of each portion of meat, pit side up
- place one piece of cream cheese in each pit cavity, topping with second apricot half, pit side down
- top each mound with a 1/4 cup of the meat mixture and shape to form a dome
- stud the hives with almonds
- bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes
