Ingredients
  • 2 cans of crème of mushroom condensed soup (approximately 11 oz size)
  • 1 packet of powdered onion soup (approximately 1oz size)
  • 1 1/4 C water
  • 5.5 lbs pot roast

Directions
  1. Combine water, condensed crème of mushroom soup and powdered onion soup in a slow cooker. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly blended. Then, gently lower the pot roast into the blend, making sure as much of the roast as possible is covered with the liquid. Ladle a few spoonfuls of the mix on top of the roast to ensure even seasoning.
  2. For a quicker meal, set your cooker on high and allow the roast to steep for 3 or 4 hours. Or, for a more leisurely meal, set the cooker on slow and allow the roast to steep 8 or 9 hours overnight while you rest.
