Italian Sausage Skewers Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pkg white mushrooms; stems removed
  • 1 green bell pepper chopped in bite size pieces
  • 1 red bell pepper chopped in bite size pieces
  • 1 red onion- bite size pieces
  • 1 zuchinni- sliced 1/4 in thick
  • 1 pkg mild italian sausage links- about 5 in pkg.
  • 1/2 bottle zesty italian dressing
  • wood or metal skewers

Directions
  1. Place all vegetables in large bowl.
  2. Cut sausage into bite size pieces and add to vegetables.
  3. Pour dressing over veggies and sausage.
  4. Marinate at least 20 minutes
  5. Thread onto skewers
  6. Grill over medium heat turning occasionally until sausage is cooked through.
  7. Serve with couscous or rice.
  8. * If using wooden skewers, soak them at least 30 minutes in water to prevent them from catching fire.
