Chocolate Mousse Tart

- 1-1/2 cups finely crushed vanilla wafer coockies. shopping list
- 1/3 cup butter, melted. shopping list
- 1-2/3 cups (10 oz. package) 62% cacao bittersweet chocolate. shopping list
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream, divided. shopping list
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar. shopping list
- 2 tbsp orange flavored liquer, optional. shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 325*.
- Combine crumbs and butter and press onto bottom and up sides of ungreased 9" tart pan with removable bottom.
- Bake 15 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack.
- Microwave chocolate and 1 cup cream on high (100%) power 1 minute Stir until smooth.
- Beat remaining cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Carefully fold whipped cream into chocolate mixture.
- Spoon into crust and smooth top
- Refrigerate 4 hours until firm
- NOTE: For added elegance, add orange liquer to filling before spooning into crust..
