Got this from Nestles. Served it last Christmas. Got nothing but raves. Just proves that simplicity can be elegant!

Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 cups finely crushed vanilla wafer coockies.
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted.
  • 1-2/3 cups (10 oz. package) 62% cacao bittersweet chocolate.
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, divided.
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar.
  • 2 tbsp orange flavored liquer, optional.

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 325*.
  2. Combine crumbs and butter and press onto bottom and up sides of ungreased 9" tart pan with removable bottom.
  3. Bake 15 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack.
  4. Microwave chocolate and 1 cup cream on high (100%) power 1 minute Stir until smooth.
  5. Beat remaining cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  6. Carefully fold whipped cream into chocolate mixture.
  7. Spoon into crust and smooth top
  8. Refrigerate 4 hours until firm
  9. NOTE: For added elegance, add orange liquer to filling before spooning into crust..
