How to make it

  • Combine crumbs, margerine and first amount of brown sugar. Press onto bottom of 10" springform pan. Bake at 350º 10 minutes. Reduce oven to 325º.
  • Beat cream cheese with 1/4 c. brown sugar and eggs until well combined. Add in graham crumbs and dulche de leche, beating well. Stir in toffee bits.
  • Pour over crust, and bake approx. 1 hour and 10 minutes, until edges are set and center is still a little jiggly.
  • Remove from oven, immediately run a sharp bladed knife around edges to prevent cracking.
  • Cool, and top
  • I topped mine with a caramel sauce (caramel apple dip, actually), but it would be really good with a chocolate ganache spread over, then sprinkled with additional toffee bits, I think.

    Wow what a delicious looking recipe. Just happen to have a jar of dulce de leche in the kitchen cabinets too!
