How to make it

  • Cut cake into ¼ to ½ inch thick. Layer slices in bottom of sheet cake pan. Set aside. Make Jell-O according to box directions, minus ½ cup of water; mix in frozen strawberries and pour all over cake.
  • Chill until set.
  • Make pudding; pour over cake and let set.
  • Spread on Cool Whip.
  • Top with fresh strawberries, if desired.
