Oven Seared Pork Ribs Recipe
This is inspired by St Louis style ribs and is very simple and tasty

Ingredients
  • 8 Bonesless Pork Ribs
  • 1/8 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/8 Cup Cracked Pepper
  • 1/8 Kosher or Sea Salt
  • 1/2 Onion Sliced
  • 2 Tablespoon Olive Oil

Directions
  1. Mix Brown Sugar, Salt and Pepper
  2. Coat the ribs with the mixture (don't dry the ribs)
  3. Wrap the coated ribs and refrigerate for about 4 hours
  4. Put the oil in an iron skillet
  5. Place the skillet in the oven
  6. Pre-heat to 500
  7. Put the ribs in the skillet and sear on each side -- about 3 minutes on each
  8. Put the sliced onion on top of the ribs and bake unit a thermometer reads about 165
  9. Remove from oven and let stand, covered for about 10 minutes.
