Ingredients
  • Almonds; small handful, 9-12 (raw, uncooked, presoak almonds for at least 1 hour (overnight simplifies digestion)
  • dates; small handful (dried)
  • vanilla bean seeds; half bean
  • water; blender full, 5-6 cups

Directions
  1. Place almonds in blender
  2. add a few cups water
  3. 'blend' for 3 minutes or so
  4. add vanilla seeds (or grind whole half bean in coffee grinder)
  5. grind dates in grinder
  6. add vanilla and dates to blender
  7. add remaining water
  8. 'liquify' for 1 minute

My son has a milk allergy, so we only drink almond milk, rice milk or soy milk, Almond is our favorite, we can get it here 2 for 4 dollars. I am wondering if you would like a recipe for rice milk? also I have a recipe for a Vanilla and Maple flavored Soy milk. I also have a recipe for Almond milk, it's a bit different then yours, not by much.
