Chicken Pot Pie

- vegetables of your choice (I like potatoes, carrots, peas, onion) shopping list
- two chicken breasts, cubed shopping list
- flour shopping list
- milk, cream or half-and-half shopping list
- ready-made crescent roll dough shopping list
- one packet of chicken gravy mix shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Chop your vegetables, put them in a pot of water, and boil until tender.
- Salt and pepper the chicken a bit, put the cubes into a frying pan with some oil, and saute until they are no longer pink.
- Put a pinch of flour in the chicken pan and coat the individual cubes.
- Once the vegetables are cooked, drain the water, add the chicken, put in a palmful of flour and a splash of milk. Mix.
- Add the mixture to a baking pan, and use the back of a big spoon to spread it evenly throughout the pan.
- Mix the gravy packet in a small saucepan. Once it's done, pour it in the baking pan on top of the meat/veggie mixture.
- Open the crescent roll package, and spread the pieces over the mixture in the pan. One tube is enough for me to put a crust on an 8x12-inch baking pan.
- Bake for about 20-30 minutes, until the crescent roll crust is golden.
