- 1 pound flank steak thinly sliced shopping list
- 2 tablespoons soy shopping list
- 2 tablespoons tamarind liquid shopping list
- 1 white onion chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon Laos powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon sambal ulek shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon shrimp paste shopping list
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil shopping list
- 1/2 cup coconut milk shopping list
- 3 curry leaves shopping list
- 1 stalk lemon grass shopping list
- 2 teaspoons dark brown sugar shopping list
- Peanut Sauce: shopping list
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter shopping list
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons rice wine shopping list
- 1-1/2 tablespoons Chinese vinegar shopping list
- 1/4 cup sesame oil shopping list
- 1 clove garlic minced shopping list
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger shopping list
- 1 teaspoon chili paste shopping list
- 3 tablespoons chicken broth shopping list
How to make it
- Blend together the first four ingredients into a smooth paste then mix in the next four ingredients.
- Heat oil and fry paste until it turns brown then add meat and fry one minute.
- Add remaining ingredients and simmer until sauce is very thick.
- Thread meat on skewers and broil until well browned.
- Serve with peanut sauce.
- To make peanut sauce blend all ingredients until smooth.
