Lemon Sherbert Recipe
This is easy, lemony, refreshing and a great dessert for the summer. I like to serve it over homemade lemon pound cake. Yummy.

Ingredients
  • 1-1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1 pint milk

Directions
  1. Combine sugar, lemon rind and juice then add flavoring.
  2. Add milk and stir until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Pour into freezing tray and freeze.
  4. When firm remove to chilled bowl and beat until light and creamy.
  5. Return to tray and finish freezing.
