Vermont Chicken Stew

- 2 pounds chicken parts shopping list
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil OR shortening shopping list
- 11 ounce can condensed cheddar cheese soup shopping list
- 10 ounce can chicken gravy shopping list
- 2 teaspoons instant minced onion shopping list
- 32 ounces canned yams drained shopping list
- 16 ounce can whole green beans drained shopping list
How to make it
- In a large heavy pan brown chicken in shortening then pour off fat.
- Stir in soup, gravy and onion then cover and stirring often cook over low heat for 45 minutes.
- Add vegetables and heat until boiling for 5 minutes.
