How to make it

  • Place the roast in a good sized pot and cover with water
  • Add the above ingredients
  • Boil for three hours over a medium heat replacing the water that boils off
  • Remove the meat,leave to drain
  • Slice it as thinly as possible
  • Serve
  • Note: The meat will have a delicate pink color on the inside and be brown on the outside.It has a rich,herb flavor and makes the finest eating.
  • Venison,antelope,moose,caribou,bear,mutton are all wonderful using this recipe.
