Ingredients
  • Ten Dove
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons of beef suet
  • 1 Medium Cabbage,cut in eighths
  • 6 Large carrots,scrubbed and cut in half
  • 1 teaspoon fresh sage leaves
  • 1 cup of cooked Lima beans
  • 1 Large onion,diced
  • Water
  • 1 cup cooked macaroni

Directions
  1. Clean,and Cut the leg and back section away from the breast section of you Dove
  2. Place the butter and beef suet in frying pan
  3. Brown dove well
  4. Place the cabbage,carrots,sage leaves,cooked lima beans,onion in large pot,place browned dove in also,cover all with water to about 2 in. deep over dove and vegetables.
  5. Add the butter and suet from the frying pan
  6. Boil slowly,for about 1 hour and 1/2
  7. Remove the dove pieces,and drain,
  8. Serve with brown rice or potatoes and butter
  9. Serve the vegetables that you cooked the dove with as a vegetable
  10. Add 1 cup cooked macaroni to the soup or cooking stock and serve with butter bread.
  11. Note; Can put 3 tablespoons of soy sauce in pot before starting to boil.Soy sauce has a quality of quickly removing all undersirable tastes from both meat and vegetables and leaving in their place very desirable tastes.
