Ingredients

How to make it

  • Melt the yeast with the warm milk (at 50 C. that is a temperature tolerable at our hands).
  • On a working surface, mix the flours with sugar and salt, make a well in the center and mix the egg beating it with a fork, mixing it gradually with the flour.
  • Add the melt yeast mixture and work the dough folding gradually the butter.
  • Knead the dough for 7-8 mins adding the sunflower grains.
  • Put the dough in a large greased bowl, cover with a wet towel and let it rise in a warm place for approx. 2 hours until it has doubled its size.
  • Split the dough in 3 equal pieces and make cylinders from each , then plaid them in a braid that you will roll as a round.
  • Put it in a baking tray and let it rise for 1 hour.
  • Brush with the evaporated milk and sprinkle with the sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C. for 45-50 mins.
