Omas Chocolate Pudding Cake Recipe
This cake is easy to make. It's fast, chewy, one of my favorite desserts growing up. It's good without icing, but icing recipe is provided. Never lasts long at my house

Ingredients
  • Cake
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 5 1/4 oz package Cook and Serve Chocolate Pudding Mix
  • 4 eggs lightly beaten
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup vegetable oil (or 1/2 c. oil and 1/2 c applesauce)
  • 3/4 c milk
  • Icing
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2-4 tsp water

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Stir all ingredients together, mix with spoon until fairly smooth.
  3. a few lumps are OK
  4. pour batter into non-stick bundtcake pan
  5. bake for 35 - 40 minutes - until toothpick comes out clean
  6. mix icing ingredients together, add just enough water to allow icing to drizzle over cake.
