Curried Honey Chicken

A little sweet,a little mustardy with a hint of curry. Absolutely delicious. Got this from one of my first cooking classes when I moved to N.E.
Ingredients
- 3-4lb. chicken,cut in quarters or eighths shopping list
- 2Tbs margarine shopping list
- 1/2c honey shopping list
- 1/4c prepared mustard shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 1-2tsp curry powder shopping list
- 1/2c almonds,toasted and chopped. shopping list
How to make it
- Wash and dry chicken. Melt margarine and whisk in remaining ingredients. Roll chicken pieces in mixture to coat both sides. Arrange chicken,meaty side up in a single layer in the baking pan. Bake at 375 for 1 hour,basting occasionally,until chicken is tender and richly glazed.
- This has been a favorite of ours through the years. Leftovers hot or cold are delicious.
