Very easy, very flavorful one-pot chicken dish. Serve with hot white rice.

Ingredients
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 carrots diced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 3/4 to 1 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1/2 c catsup
  • 1 t black pepper
  • 2 t brown sugar
  • 1 t sesame oil (to taste)
  • red pepper flakes
  • 2 chickens cut into serving pieces

Directions
  1. Brown chicken pieces; drain
  2. Mix garlic, soy sauce, ketchup, pepper, sugar, sesame oil and red pepper flakes together
  3. Pour over chicken
  4. Add onion and carrots
  5. Bring to a boil and simmer until chicken is done and veggies are tender
  6. Serve over rice, pour extra sauce over if desired
