Italian Pizzelles

These are a must for weddings and holidays. Simple and yummy. Vanilla or anise favoring can be substituted for the orange.
Ingredients
- 6 eggs shopping list
- 1&1/2c. sugar shopping list
- 2T. orange juice shopping list
- orange zest from 1 orange shopping list
- 1c. oleo, melted shopping list
- 3&1/2c. flour shopping list
- 4t. baking powder shopping list
- confectioner's sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Mix together 1st 4 ingredients.
- Stir in melted oleo.
- Mix flour & baking powder together & add to butter & egg mixture, mixing well.
- Drop by heaping tablespoons onto hot pizzelle iron.
- Bake until light brown. (the cooking time will vary)
- Cool & dust with confectioner's sugar if desired.
