How to make it

  • Second part recipe--
  • In a small bowl:
  • 3 teaspoon cumin,1 Tablespoon salt,1 Tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 Tablespoons olive oil,and 4 Tablespoons vinegar
  • Blend well and add to the vegetable mixture,along with 1 cup of dried white bread,crumbled
  • Mix in 1/2 gallon of cold water
  • Place the mixture in a cool place for 4 to 5 hours
  • Pour mixture thought a strainer to remove the solids,you just want the liquid.
  • Place in soup dishes
  • Have ready at the table:
  • Bowls of onion,peeled cucumber,tomatoes all cut to about 1/4 " peices,and a bowl of white bread squares,dried out ,or small crackers
  • Allow the people to add these to the soup as desired.
  • This is also good eaten with cracker spread with a little Roquefort Cheese.
  • Long recipe,but easy to make.
