How to make it

  • In a heavy 2 quart saucepan, over medium heat, combine all ingredients except the vanilla.
  • Cook, beating constantly with wire wisk until sauce is smooth and slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, stir in vanilla.
  • Serve warm.
  • Refrigerate leftovers.
  • To Reheat:
  • In a small saucepan, combine desired amount of sauce with a small amount of water. Over low heat, stir constantly until heated through.
