How to make it

  • Heat oven to 250
  • In a large bowl, combine the cereal, pecans, raisins, and apple chips.
  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add the sugar and cinnamon.
  • Cook and stir until nearly caramelized. (about 5-6 minutes)
  • Remove from heat and pour over the cereal mixture.
  • Stir until the cereal mixture is evenly coated.
  • Spread on a jelly roll pan and bake in preheated oven for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  • Cool completely and store in air tight container.
