This makes a satisfying meal served with angel hair pasta tossed with a little olive oil and finely chopped basil, and a green salad.

Ingredients
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 tblsp. flour
  • 1/2 tspn. salt
  • 1/4 tspn. pepper
  • 1/4 tspn. five spice powder
  • 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tblsp. oil

Directions
  1. In a small bowl, whisk egg and 1 tblsp water, and set aside.
  2. In another small bowl, combine sesame seeds, flour, salt, pepper and five spice powder.
  3. Dip shrimp in egg mixture, then in sesame seed mixture to coat.
  4. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Saute shrimp until cooked through, about 3 minutes per side
  6. Enjoy!
