How to make it

  • Cook cabbage in boiling salted water in large saucepan for about 15-20minutes or until outer leaves can be removed
  • Do not over boil so that the cabbage is too soft
  • Drain and cool cabbage
  • Tear off about 12 of the outer leaves, leaving them intact so they can be stuffed
  • Chop remaining cabbage
  • Combine meat with the next 7 ingredients to create stuffing
  • Spoon stuffing into cabbage leaves and roll to enclose filling
  • Arrange seam side down in a greased baking dish.
  • Top with choped cabbage
  • Cover cabbage rolls with tomato sauce
  • Bake for about 45 min.-1 hour
  • Enjoy!
