How to make it

  • Stir together concentrate, oil, honey, mustard, sliced green onion, mint and hot pepper sauce.
  • Set aside 1/4 cup of the mixture to make the relish then cover and chill until needed.
  • Place steak in a plastic bag then set in a shallow bowl and pour remaining marinade over meat.
  • Seal bag and turn to coat meat with marinade then chill 24 hours turning bag occasionally.
  • Combine reserved marinade, pepper, apple, pear, peach, celery, green onion and lemon juice.
  • Cover and chill until serving time up to 24 hours.
  • Remove steak from plastic bag reserving marinade.
  • Grill steak on rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium coals to desired doneness.
  • Turn once and brush occasionally with marinade until the last 10 minutes of grilling.
  • Allow 18 to 22 minutes for medium doneness.
