- 10-12 lasagna noodles (ready-to-bake will save time!) shopping list
- 16 oz. part-skim ricotta cheese shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 2 cans of Italian tomatoes shopping list
- 1 green bell pepper shopping list
- 1/2 onion shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- italian seasoning shopping list
- 1 jar of pasta sauce shopping list
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese shopping list
- parsley flakes shopping list
How to make it
- SAUCE
- Saute bell pepper, onion and garlic.
- Add canned tomatoes and pasta sauce.
- Heat sauce thoroughly.
- Season sauce to taste with salt, pepper, and italian seasoning.
- CHEESE
- Mix ricotta cheese, parsley flakes and milk.
- NOODLES
- If you didn't get ready-to-bake noodles, cook them al dente, drain and rinse with cool water.
- Layer in pan as follows: sauce, noodles, cheese, sauce, etc.
- Once all ingredients are layered, top with mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 60 minutes or until it's bubbly and cheese has melted and browned.
