How to make it

  • preheat oven to 180c/350f/gas mark 4
  • grease a 13x9x2 in cake tin with margarine
  • place all the ingredients except the choc chips and sprinkles in a bowl and beat together using a wooden spoon
  • once blended so no margarine is visible, add choc chips
  • spoon the mixture into the cake tin and level the top
  • scatter sprinkles
  • bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes, until risen and springy to touch
  • leave to cool in the tin, once cool cut into squares as big or small as you like!

    very very chocolately,not too moist but not dry,makes a good quantity for lunch boxes etc,and so easy allin one bowl little washing up.
