Lentil Soup With Ham

- 1 Meaty ham bone or ham hock shopping list
- 6 cups water shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups dried lentils shopping list
- 2 cups Sliced carrots shopping list
- 1 cup Chopped celery shopping list
- 1 cup Chopped onion shopping list
- 2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp sugar shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1 Bay Leaf shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients in stock pot and bring to boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 60 minutes or until lentils are tender.
- Remove ham from soup and dice meat.
- Return meat to soup.
- Remove bay leaf and serve.
