How to make it

  • Drain salmon and remove any skin or bone pieces.
  • Place into large bowl.
  • Chop onions, peppers, mushrooms and add to salmon.
  • Add eggs, accent, chives, garlic, cumin, salt, pepper and flour.
  • Crush crackers and add to bowl.
  • Mix all ingredients until blended well.
  • Shape into 8 patties.
  • Heat oil in large skillet over medium high heat.
  • Place patties in skillet and brown about 7 minutes on each side.
  • Remove and place on plate lined with paper towels for any excess oil.

    I have tried this recipe, and the flavors work so well together. I didn't have mushrooms and these patties still tasted great. This is my newest edition to eating salmon. I would change the name to Gourmet Salmon Patties. Thanks.
