Yellow Crook Neck Squash

This is just the sipleset little recipe - if you can call it that - but oh so good. Nope, you don't need dthe onions in this great little side dish.
Ingredients
- 5 yellow crookneck squash shopping list
- 1 1/2-blocks margarine shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- enough water to just cover the bottom of the pot shopping list
How to make it
- Wash squash and cut off both ends.
- Slice into about 1/4th-inch rounds
- Place in a pot with the margarine and water.
- Bring to a boil over a medium heat.
- Add salt and pepper; lower heat and continue to cook (with lid on) until squash is tender.
- Taste for salt and pepper and doneness before taking up.
- Serve with a slotted spoon.
