How to make it

  • Put spice mix in a pan over med heat cook until spices
  • are fragrant and salt is starting golden,cool and grind with motor and pestle or spice grinder. Makes about 150g[51/2oz]
  • Roll the kingfish in the spice mix. Heat oil in fry pan and cook fish about 30sec on each side until sealed but stil raw in middle
  • Take fish out of pan and let rest
  • Mix the rest of ingredients to make a salad spoon onto plates.
  • slice fish and arrange on top of salad
  • Enjoy

    I like the citrus, lemon,pink grapefruit segments make for a refreshing taste.
    The spice rub gives a nice smoky blackened quality.
