How to make it

  • Soften gelatin in cold water
  • Dissolve in hot milk
  • Add salt
  • Chill until partly set.
  • Fold marshmallows and crushed peanut brittle into the whipped cream.
  • Beat gelatin until light and fluffy
  • Fold into whipped cream mixture
  • Add vanilla and lemon juice
  • Line bottom and sides of an oiled angel food pan with the strips of cake cut 1" wide and1/2" thick--Remove crusts from cake first--
  • Fill with the gelatin mixture
  • Chill until set
  • Garnish with whipped cream
