Peanut Brittle Refrigerator Cake

- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin shopping list
- 1/2 Cup cold water shopping list
- 2 Cups milk,scalded(note:No sticking to pan when you're scalding milk if you'll first rinse the pan in cold water) shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 pound marshmallows shopping list
- 1 pound peanut brittle shopping list
- 2 Cups whipping cream shopping list
- 2 Tablespoon lemon juice shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 Angle Food cake shopping list
How to make it
- Soften gelatin in cold water
- Dissolve in hot milk
- Add salt
- Chill until partly set.
- Fold marshmallows and crushed peanut brittle into the whipped cream.
- Beat gelatin until light and fluffy
- Fold into whipped cream mixture
- Add vanilla and lemon juice
- Line bottom and sides of an oiled angel food pan with the strips of cake cut 1" wide and1/2" thick--Remove crusts from cake first--
- Fill with the gelatin mixture
- Chill until set
- Garnish with whipped cream
