How to make it

  • Beat together butter and powdered sugar until light.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
  • Add flour, mixing just until smooth.
  • Spoon into greased 10 inch tube or fluted tube pan and bake at 325 for 1 hour 15 minutes.
  • Cool before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
