How to make it

  • using rolling pin, crush sleeve of crackers, lay out on a paper plate.
  • using a wet mallet, pound beef to about 1/4 in. thick
  • dredge beef in flour
  • dip into beaten egg
  • coat with crushed saltines
  • fry in med. -med./high oil about 5-6 min per side (until brown and crispy)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • make gravy if desired...enjoy!
