Ingredients
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup wheat cereal
  • 1 cup chopped apples
  • 1 cup chopped seedless raisins
  • 1 cup canned crushed pineapple drained
  • Butter

Directions
  1. Boil water and salt then stir wheat cereal in gradually and cook slowly for 20 minutes.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and stir well.
  3. Remove from heat and turn into a well greased loaf pan then chill until firm.
  4. Slice and fry in butter until browned and cooked through.
  5. Serve hot for breakfast with syrup.
