From tippystclair 16 years agoIngredients
- 1 pound ground chicken or turkey shopping list
- 1 (1 1/4-ounce) packet taco seasoning mix shopping list
- 4 slices (1 ounce each) Monterey Jack, colby or jalapeno cheese shopping list
- 4 hamburger buns, split shopping list
- 1 medium avocado, sliced shopping list
- 1/4 cup thick-and-chunky salsa shopping list
How to make it
- Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat, or preheat broiler in oven.
- Mix chicken and taco seasoning mix. Shape mixture into 4 patties, about 3/4 inch thick.
- Grill patties 4 to 6 inches from medium heat (on grill) or 4 inches from broiler coils for 14 to 16 minutes, turning once, until chicken is no longer pink in center and juices of patties run clear.
