Chestnuts With Rice

- 1 medium onion sliced finely shopping list
- 1/4 pound mushrooms sliced shopping list
- margarine as required shopping list
- 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup stock shopping list
- 1 pound chestnuts boiled shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup white wine shopping list
- 2 cups cooked rice shopping list
How to make it
- Sauté onion and mushrooms in margarine until brown then add flour and blend.
- Gradually add stock then stir until smooth.
- Add peeled and chopped chestnuts then mix well and season.
- Add white wine then heat to boiling point and serve over rice.
